Following the network’s launch in September 2025, we are pleased to host our first in-person event, bringing members together for a morning of insight, discussion, and meaningful connection.

This launch event will begin with a breakfast networking session, providing an opportunity to connect with peers operating at board and executive level, followed by a panel discussion featuring experienced leaders across executive, advisory, and investment environments.

Our panel includes:

  • Michael Black – Angel Investor, Non-Executive Director, and experienced technology CFO
  • Deb Lange – Co-Chair of Diversity Mark, Non-Executive Director, and former FTSE 100 executive
  • Paul Prenter – Advisory Partner at Grant Thornton

The discussion will explore the evolving landscape of board and portfolio careers, offering practical insight into how senior leaders can position themselves for Non-Executive, Chair, fractional, and advisory opportunities, while also considering how organisations can build stronger, more effective boards.

We will also introduce our founding partners, including Shoosmiths, Lumen Financial Planning, Duality Healthcare, ICON, and our charity partner, Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice, all of whom play an important role in supporting the network and its members.
